g40jon. 20 posts · Joined 2010. #4 · Sep 3, 2010. check the simple things 1st. the switch could be at fault (you dont say if the window regulator is making any nasty sounds, or working in a jerky fashion) if the regulator is faulty it will normally make some crunching noises before totally failing.

Renault Scenic Mk 2 Rear window switches not working!! Tags My 2005 1.5 DCI scenics windows all work correctly from the drivers switches but neither of the rear windows will work from their own switch. I have changed the window child lock switch, fuses, both Temic modules and even the wiring loom on one of the doors but still nothing.

1. Drop the window glass to the bottom of the window channel. Since you will be realigning the glass, move it to the bottom of the frame that lines the inside of the car door, better known as the window channel. Using one hand, firmly slide the glass down as far as you can.

Discussion starter · #1 · Sep 21, 2006. 2004 Renault Scenic Expression 1.6 - 24000 miles purchased 4 weeks ago and has been back 3 times already - booked in again next week for brakes and exhaust to be repaired. Checked my lights before setting off on a long night journey and found the nearside rear fog light wasn't working.
