"Ed, Edd, n' Eddy" is the longest-running Canadian-made cartoon as of 2018, clocking in at 10 years and 10 months (January 1999 to November 2009). The Plank Family Players is a series of shorts that played as segments of Cartoon Network's Fridays, and are also included in the Ed, Edd n Eddy Vol.2: Fools' Par-Ed-ise DVD. In them, Plank and his parents perform short plays, each of which parodies a specific movie genre. Staying true to the Plank is the imaginary friend of Jonny 2x4 in the form of a plank of wood. Although he is claimed to be alive, he is never heard or seen moving on screen. However, Jonny seems to be able to understand what he is saying, but this is likely just Jonny's imagination.
